Opening hours

From January 1st to December 31
9:30 am - 6 pm

Last access to the monument at 5:30 pm

Exceptional closures: 

  • Sunday 24 December at 5pm
  • Sunday  January 1st at 5pm 

Closed on May 1st  and December 25.

Due to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the monument will be closed all day on Friday 26 July.

Histopad tablets are available until 4:30 pm

Services and conditions of visit

The Conciergerie is included in the perimeter of the Palais de Justice de Paris.

The monument is subject to the security and safety rules specific to this place and defined for its protection.

We strongly advise you to buy your ticket on the monument's E-ticketing service.

The Vigipirate plan is in force within the Palais de Justice.

For your safety, the following are prohibited

  • Motorcycle helmets
  • Aerosols
  • Knives and sharp objects
  • Scissors
  • Glass bottles
  • Bulky luggage/bags
  • Scooters, skateboards and rollerblades

Strollers must be small and collapsible to fit through the X-ray machines.

Allow time to pass through the security checkpoints at the entrance to the monument.

The Conciergerie is not equipped with a PMR access
